The purpose of our worship is to
- praise and glorify God
- remember our Saviour's sacrifice
- encourage and edify one another
Our worship is conducted in a simple manner that includes the Lord's Supper, scripture reading, prayer, congregational singing, and a sermon from God's Word.
Our gatherings also provide an opportunity for fellowship with one another -- a friendly greeting always awaits you at Lincoln.
Many people hesitate to visit a new church because they do not know what to expect. We want you to feel confortable when you come to worship with us. Perhaps we can help you feel at ease by telling you what you can expect in our worship service.
- Singing
- One of our song leaders directs us in acapella singing.
- Prayer
- Various men of the congregation lead prayers.
- Scripture Reading
- Passages of scripture are read from the Bible.
- Communion
- On each Sunday, the Lord's Supper is served in remembrance of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior.
- Sermon
- The minister delivers a message that is Bible based with current day application.
- Collection
- At the Sunday morning service, money is collected to support our work. As a visitor, you are not required or expected to give.
We meet for worship on Sunday mornings and Sunday afternoons. We also have Bible classes on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
